Our Snohomish County Communites

Edmonds Wa is one of Washingtons most picturesque waterfront communities, Edmonds offers visitors a seaside ambiance and residents an appealing, small-town quality of life.

Established as a logging camp over 100 years ago , Edmonds is now home to a marina and fishing pier, a senior center, and numerous beaches, parks, shops and restaurants. Other amenities include a well-respected school district , comprehensive healthcare through a regional hospital and associated services, churches, and a growing community college.  Edmonds is known regionally as an active arts community. Year-round festivals and events showcase the communitys sense of pride and involvement.

Lynnwood WA is the largest retail center and the second largest city in Snohomish County. With its proximity to Seattle, Lynnwood has become a preferred place to live and work.
It has superb public recreation facilities, an ice-skating arena, two golf driving ranges, an 18-hole golf course, and almost 250 acres of parks and open space to explore. The new Interurban Trail, which follows I-5 from Lynnwood to Everett, offers thirteen miles of paved trail for bike riders, walkers, joggers, and roller bladers. Scriber Lake Park is one sanctuary located just a few blocks from the commercial core. The park has 20 acres of winding paths, native plants and trees as well as a unique floating walkway.

Just minutes north of Seattle, with easy access via I-5, rail, and ferry, Snohomish County lays claim to an impressively diverse collection of geography encompassing urban delights, rural masterpieces, and an endless menu of outdoor options and indoor fun.

Welcome. Youll have fun here.

Were outdoor people, and Snohomish County is a great place to be. I love the mountains, with variations from gentle hiking trails to high altitude climbs. Then there are the lakes for fishing, kayaking and birdwatching. If were not in New Zealand, we want to be here! - Helen Thayer
